In 2005 the resort & theme park of Universal Mediterranea changed its name to PortAventura. It is one of the largest theme parks in Europe, located in the holiday resort of Salou, Catalonia, Spain on the "Gold Coast" (Costa Daurada). It is 1 hour south of Barcelona, and is within 30 minutes of 2 airports. |
